Hi, We are sailing next week on the Dream 5-night Western Caribbean cruise March 22-27. Are the main pools open right when you get on board? My son is itching to try the waterslide! Also, is there a way to find out the theme nights prior to boarding?

Welcome back to planDisney Rachel! Your cruise on the Disney Dream is just around the river bend.  I hope you and your family are excited.

The pools are usually open once you embark.  Of course, things can change due to weather or other circumstances, so make sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app because announcements will show up there once you are onboard and throughout your sailing.   The AquaDuck is so much fun.  Your son is going to have a great time as he goes up, down, around, and off the side of the ship on this waterslide.  Guests must be 42" or taller to ride the AquaDuck; single riders must be 54"  or taller and at least 7 years old.

I hope you have your pirate gear packed because Pirate Night will be on Sunday after you leave Cozumel, Mexico (subject to change). You will also have an optional dress-up evening on Monday, your sea day.  Here is a handy packing list to help you as you get ready to head to Port Everglades for your cruise.

Rachel, if you have any other questions, sail back to us before you sail away on the Disney Dream.  planDisney is here for you!

    Happy Sailing!
