Ahoy Ruth!
Yippee! I couldn't like this any more because I'm going to be on that same cruise too! Are you counting down the days? We’ve only got THREE WEEKS before it’s time to hit
New Orleans and let the good times roll in Cozumel and at sea.
Disney Cruise Line typically has
formal nights only on itineraries with seven nights or longer. On shorter cruises, there’s always an optional dress up night. I’ve seen suits and ties for the men and cocktail dresses and even gowns for women on this "wear your best" night, but it’s also perfectly acceptable to go with cruise casual, too.
On this 4-night voyage, there will be two cruise casual nights, one optional dress up night, and a
Pirate Night. Here’s the full lineup:
Day One: Cruise casual
Day Two: Optional dress up
Day Three: Pirate Night
Day Four: Cruise casual
Onboard entertainment and schedules are always subject to change, so be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. I like using the app to look up all the menus for each night so I can plan what dishes I want to order ahead of time. And the reminder feature is super helpful in making sure I stay on time to all the activities. When I board the ship, I tend to leave all my worries behind and that includes my sense of time. So the app sends me reminders of experiences I have tagged, and I don’t miss a character meet and greet or my spa treatment I have scheduled at
Senses Spa and Salon.
I hope you have an absolute BALL on this sailing with your KREWE. Maybe we will SEA each other onboard. If not, have a WONDERful time!
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
