We are sailing on the New Disney Dream on March 29th, 20011. We are very excited! I was wondering how many people dress up for the pirate party. Do most or just a few? Only children or adults too?

    Hi, Amanda!

Arggh, matey...ye will be seeing much piratical nonsense when your vessel hits the high seas! Seriously, Disney Cruise Line guests really get into the Pirates IN the Caribbean Party, and it's one of the highlights of the voyage.

Your stateroom host/hostess will provide you with a bandana, but most guests choose to bring additional pirate attire on board.  I've even seen some adults -- whom I thought were Cast Members at first -- dressed from head to toe in full pirate regalia! I would say that most children dress up in more than just the bandana, and about half of the adults get into the act, too. Our family personally would never leave home without our best swashbuckling gear!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
