Sailing out of Miami in November 2016. We would Like to spend a few days in the park after we disembark. What is the best way to get to Orlando from Miami?

    Welcome Aboard, Alison!

I'm happy to hear you're planning to turn your Disney Cruise Line vacation into a Land and Sea adventure! While Disney Cruise Line doesn't offer ground transportation from the Port of Miami to the Walt Disney World Resort area, there are several private shuttle companies that do.

With a simple Google search of "transportation from Port of Miami to Orlando", I was able to find options for travel by motorcoach, town car, limo, and car rental service. The trip from the Port of Miami to Orlando is about a three and a half hour drive, so many guests choose to rent a car. There are many car rental options located near the Port of Miami, some of which will meet you at the port when you disembark. Others have shuttles to transport you to the rental locations, typically located very close by.

Deciding which transportation option to use is really up to you. I encourage you to check out the options available, and hopefully you will find the perfect fit for you and your sailing party!

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
