We are sailing from Miami on March 13-19th. Will we have a Pirate Night?

    Ahoy, Deborah!

Welcome aboard planDisney – how exciting to be looking ahead to your cruise on the beautiful Disney Dream this spring! This itinerary looks like tropical perfection, with stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Cozumel, Mexico. I can understand wanting to finalize the details of your vacation and I’m happy to help you.

I spoke with a friendly Crew Member today and confirmed that you will enjoy Pirate Night on this sailing – it's scheduled for Thursday evening, the day you are in Cozumel. Pirate Night is a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition. I love the themed menu at dinner and the deck party with fireworks at sea is so unique and fun!

Many guests enjoy dressing up for this special night, but I typically just have a themed accessory like a scarf or Minnie Ear headband. My husband and son like to wear themed tees from Pirates of the Caribbean or a nod to Peter Pan. Whether you go all out with your pirate costume or just enjoy seeing others, you’ll feel included in the fun onboard and not have to walk the plank.

Please sail back and “sea” us if you have any further questions to help finalize your plans. From packing ideas to transportation logistics, our friendly crew is here to help!

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!
