Ahoy there, Trey!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A Very Merrytime
sailing on the Magic is one of my favorite ways to spend the holidays—there’s just something about walking into the Atrium and seeing the garland, lights, and towering tree that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into the opening scene of The Santa Clause. And since you’ll be sailing on the Magic (my personal favorite), you’ve definitely chosen a ship that knows how to celebrate in style.
You’re smart to plan ahead for the themed nights. They add such a fun extra layer to the evenings onboard—almost like choosing your outfit for a starring role in your own Disney holiday special. Based on your itinerary, the current schedule looks like this:
• Day 2 (At Sea) – Optional Dress-Up Night: A great chance to channel your inner Prince Naveen or Tiana and add a little elegance to dinner. Whether you go full formal or simply a bit fancier than usual, you’ll fit right into the evening’s charm.
• Day 3 (Cozumel) –
Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party: This night feels like stepping into Belle’s enchanted Christmas village. Holiday colors, fun festive touches, and anything that makes you feel merry will be right on theme.
• Day 4 (Progreso) –
Pirate Night: Time to bring out your best swashbuckling spirit. Think of it as your own cameo in Treasure Planet—bandanas, eye patches, or full pirate gear all work perfectly for this high-energy evening.
Just keep in mind that entertainment schedules are always subject to change, so while this is the current lineup, Disney may adjust things as your sailing gets closer or once you’re onboard. Your final schedule will always appear in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you set sail.
I hope this helps as you plan those picture-perfect outfits for each magical night. May your Very Merrytime voyage be filled with enough cheer to make even Jack Skellington trade in his Halloween Town passport for a Christmas one.
Sea ya real soon as the tides turn toward thankful hearts and joyful journeys,
Dustin
