Ahoy, Richard!
Welcome back to planDisney! I love that you’re charting your course early so your sailing
aboard the Disney Wish is smooth as glass—Captain Mickey would be proud of your preparation!
With a 3-night sailing, I completely understand wanting to fit in all the magical moments—especially when there’s so much happening on a
Very Merrytime voyage! Based on your current itinerary, Day 2 (Nassau) is shaping up to be double the fun with both Mickey and Minnie’s Holiday Party and Pirate Night. Talk about a deck day full of jolly and jolly rogers!
Here’s how it typically works: the holiday deck party usually happens between the two main dining times (around 7:30 PM), followed by the
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party later in the evening (usually around 10 PM). So while the timing can vary, there’s a good chance your 7 PM
reservation at Palo Steakhouse will overlap with the holiday celebration. Be sure to double check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard to confirm the actual times and locations.
I completely understand not wanting to miss the festivities. I know Palo is one of the most magical dining experiences at sea (that chocolate soufflé alone deserves its own fireworks show!), but if catching both the holiday fun and pirate party is high on your list, you might consider switching your reservation to brunch or moving dinner to another night, if possible.
If no alternative times are available online, don’t let your holiday spirit sink! Once you board, open your Navigator app to find the time and location of the Onboard Dining Session (on the Wish, it’s often held in
the Triton Lounge from noon to 3 PM on embarkation day). The dining team are true miracle workers—think Fairy Godparents in ties—and they’ll do their best to help you adjust your plans.
I hope this helps you plan a holly-jolly evening filled with festive magic, delicious food, and maybe a little swashbuckling fun under the fireworks.
Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
Dustin
