We will be sailing on Magic in November. I know on the other ships one of the MDR serves lunch on Embarkation day. Which MDR is it on Magic?

    Welcome Aboard, Jerry!

Congratulations on your upcoming voyage on the awesome Disney Magic. Fall weather is slowly creeping up on us (pumpkin spice is everywhere), which means your November sail date is fast approaching! I know you must be getting excited as the days tick by.

It's always exciting to step onto the ship on Embarkation Day! As you board the ship, the cruise staff announces your name, which begins the personalized VIP service you can expect throughout your cruise. Then, it's on to a delicious buffet lunch before you set sail! On the Disney Magic, you can choose from two lunch buffet locations on your first afternoon onboard: Cabanas, on Deck 9, and Carioca's, (the newly re-imagined restaurant that replaced Parrot Cay) on Deck 3. Both restaurants will be open throughout the afternoon, however, Carioca's will close a bit earlier than Cabanas to begin preparations for evening dinner seatings.

You can also find several Quick Service locations serving food on Embarkation Day, including Daisy's De-Lites, Pete's Boiler Bites, and Pinocchio's Pizzeria. You're certain to find something to please everyone in your sailing party! Make sure to save room for some delicious soft-serve ice cream, which can be found at the all-you-care-to-enjoy Eye Scream venue on Deck 9, near Goofy's Pool.

I hope this help with your planning. All this talk of delicious food has made me hungry!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel - let us know if you have any further questions before you set sail! - Diane W.
