We're sailing on the Magic in June, 2012 out of New York. We're trying to decide if we should stay in New York the night before the cruise or just drive in (from Maryland) that morning. I'm having a hard time finding information on departing from NYC!

    Hi Barbara,

I think I would rather stay in New York the night before the cruise than take that long drive from Maryland.  I would start worrying about leaving late, traffic and worse....car trouble!  You don't want to be exhausted from a long drive right before you get on the ship...you'll be too tired to stay up and enjoy the night life!

The address for Disney Cruise Line's NY terminal is:

    711 12th Avenue
    West 55th Street
    NYC  10019

The Port parking charge is $30 per day.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage Barbara!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
