Hi Catherine!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We were recently aboard the Disney Magic and had such an incredible time! I'll never forget the look on my son's face while eating at Rapunzel's Royal Table! The Snuggly Duckling Thugs were hilarious and made dinner so much fun!
One of my favorite things to do while sailing the high seas is see the Broadway-style shows and entertainment offered throughout the cruise. While onboard the Disney Magic, you can look forward to seeing Tangled: The Musical, Disney Dreams - An Enchanted Classic and Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story. (Please note, all entertainment is subject to change.) Depending on the length of your cruise, you will likely have at least one evening show featuring a variety act, too! It has been my experience that the evening entertainment is not repeated any night of the cruise. With that being said, I have been on voyages when a musical was also offered during the afternoon one day as a matinee!
I noticed that my fellow cruise-loving panelist, Stephanie,
answered another excellent question from you regarding being able to dine with your family in the Main Dining Restaurants and still have a romantic dinner with your husband at Palo! As Stephanie mentioned, doing this will prevent you from both dining with your family and seeing the evening entertainment. I completely understand not wanting to miss out on dinner with your family but still wanting to experience Palo. May I suggest booking brunch at Palo, instead? This way, you and your husband will be able to enjoy the delicious cuisine offered at Palo while still being able to make each dinner with your family!
Catherine, for me, eating dinner each night onboard with my family is one of the highlights of every cruise! I can't wait for you to experience this, too.
Beth
