Congratulations, Rebeca!
You're on your way to the most magical voyage on earth! How exciting for you and your family -- 2016 will be starting off with such a bang for your whole crew. Yay!
Disney gift cards can indeed be used to offset charges on your stateroom account when you sail on the Disney Dream. All charges onboard will be reflected on your stateroom folio that you can request from the Guest Services desk at anytime during your cruise. Charges could include any shopping that you do onboard, specialty beverages, Palo or Remy dining fees, Laundry, Arr-cade, as well as Port Adventures. It's really simple to apply a gift card onto your account. All you need to do is stop by the Guest Services desk sometime during your voyage and give them the gift cards that you are using. The gift card amount can be deposited onto your stateroom account and everything else will be charged onto the main credit card that you have setup for your cruise reservation.
I still remember my family's first Disney Cruise vacation. We were most excited about Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay! It is an amazing island and you've got the whole day to spend there while on your cruise. Don't forget your Pirate Gear too -- it's not to be missed, since you'll be celebrating the
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions to help you prepare for your upcoming voyage. We're always happy to help!
Happy planning,
~ Dolly
