    Sailing in Jan 2018 after running Dopey. If we have a hotel rsv for Sun Jan 7th can I leave my car at the resort and take bus to port on the 8th. Would I need to have a hotel rsv for the day we come back to take bus back to resort and leave car at resort.

    I was thrilled to see that you sailed back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask more excellent questions! Yessss! Combining a land vacation that includes the Dopey Challenge with a Disney Cruise is exactly my kind of trip! This past January I participated in the Disney Castaway Cay Challenge and received the most beautiful medal after completing the 5k on Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay. After running through the parks during the Marathon Weekend, there was nothing better than boarding our ship to paradise. I hope you might consider adding the Castaway Cay Challenge onto your Dopey Challenge if your cruise on January 8th is aboard the Disney Dream!

    Previously, Guests were able to leave their cars parked in the parking lot of the Walt Disney World Resort hotel they were staying at and take Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral for their cruise. They did not require a hotel reservation for Ground Transportation back to the Walt Disney World Resort the day their cruise returned to Port Canaveral. I strongly suggest calling the particular Disney Resort hotel you're staying in just to make sure this option is still available! If they say it's still not a problem, be sure to mention these plans when you check in next January.
