Hi there, Kathleen! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
Your upcoming adventure sounds absolutely incredible! Not only are you sailing on my favorite ship and stopping at
Disney Castaway Cay, but you’re also dropping anchor twice at
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! Amazing! If only there were room in your luggage for an extra travel buddy, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Let's dive in and plan your arrival to Port Everglades.
Disney Cruise Line does have its own terminal but shares a parking garage. I sailed out of
Fort Lauderdale over Thanksgiving and had no problem finding a parking spot. When you enter the port area, make sure you have your cruise confirmation and a valid photo ID for the port authorities. The Disney Magic typically departs from terminal four. Parking is a breeze! Upon entering the parking garage, you'll be issued a parking ticket. Remember to keep this ticket handy, as you'll need it both for payment at the convenient kiosks and to exit the terminal.
Fort Lauderdale is a lovely city with incredible beaches. In fact, Fort Lauderdale Beach is Blue Wave certified by the Clean Beaches Council, making it an excellent beach for families. I hope you spend some time enjoying the sun, sand, and sea before you embark on your Disney Cruise.
Please stop by again with any additional questions. We are always happy to lend a helping hand.
SEAS the adventure!
