We are sailing for the first time ever and we are going on the Disney Dream in November and I was wondering what the process is to board the ship. I have read about long line. What is the best time to get there?

    Hi Melissa!

I'm SO EXCITED to hear that you'll be sailing for the first time ever with Disney Cruise Line!  The Disney Dream is a gorgeous ship, and I wish I could see your faces when you arrive (that and when you ride the AquaDuck for the first time!

I really wouldn't say that the lines are that long.  Maybe it's that it moves rather quickly?  I wouldn't worry about it too much.  The terminal opens between 11:00am and 11:30am. They start checking in at 1:00pm. I will tell you that I have checked in earlier, but really, it depends on when US Customs clears the ship for a new sailing. You have to be on the ship no later than 3:40 to 4:00 pm. The ship will depart at 5:00pm.  You will definitely be having a fabulous buffet lunch as soon as you get on the ship.  Any crew member can direct you to the restaurant.  Hope you're hungry!  It's all really delicious and never ending!

I hope you have a magical sailing.  Please let me know if you have any other questions; I'm really happy to help my fellow cruisers.  Bon voyage!
