Sailing on our first Disney cruise on the Dream in Feb. Can you explain the $299 package for all of your pictures? Is it like a photopass CD? Do they take pictures like in the parks (characters etc.) ? I always get CD is this something I would like?

    Hi Ellen,

If you're a fan of the PhotoPass CD, then the Photo CD will be for you!  The rates vary by the length of voyage, but currently the $299.95 rate applies to the 4 and 5-night sailings.

There are photo opportunities throughout your entire voyage right from the moment you prepare to step onboard for the first time.  Some of the various opportunities include character greetings and formal and informal portraits.  You'll also see photographers in the dining rooms at dinner time, as well as on the beach while at Castaway Cay.  There are plenty of photo opportunities onboard, so I certainly think the photo CD is a great value if you are looking to take advantage of them all!

Your Key to the World card can be used when having the photographer take your picture to assign the photo to your stateroom.  They also use facial recognition technology so even if you don't have your key, no worries (which is great if they catch you in the water at Castaway Cay)!  There are several monitors where you can review the photos, and you'll also find the printed photos on display in Shutters.

    Hope this helps!
