We are sailing in February on our first Disney cruise! We have two children ages 18 and 9 by launch time. I was wondering what types of things they will have for my 18 year old to do. It seems as if the clubs they have on the Dream stop at 17 years of age?

    Ahoy Paul –
Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise! Get ready to have your family initiated into a new way of vacation enjoyment with Disney Cruise Line. The Dream is a fabulous ship that is beautifully decorated with thoughtful Disney whimsy and full of unlimited fun. You are correct that Vibe, the club for teen sailors ages 14-17, does not allow adults 18 or older during secure programming sessions.

Your 18-year old pirate will be able to visit Vibe during Open House Hours every day, but he may have more fun in his own club called the 1820 Society which is for young adult sailors ages 18-20 years old. Check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find out information on meeting times and locations for this club.

Do not forget about all of the other wonderful activities your son can experience like first run movies, Goofy’s Sports Deck, water fun on the AquaDuck and in the pools, family game show nights, karaoke, BINGO and of course the Broadway style theater shows. Paul, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
