Hi Jennifer!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It appEARs that you are headed to the Caribbean on the beautiful Disney Fantasy! You will find it so special to experience the magic of a Disney Cruise alongside your littles and they will undoubtedly have a wonderful time!
First things first…if you were hoping for the main dining seating time (typically around 5:45PM) and were unable to secure it, I highly recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent to ask about getting on the wait list for main dining. We have often been unable to get main dining when we initially make our reservation, but some pixie dust comes our way and we get off the wait list and end up with main dining. When traveling with little ones, it may be the way to go for you…or perhaps later dining is better for your schedules! I just know mine are early to bed (and early to rise) no matter where we are so main dining is our priority!
During second seating dining, children who are old enough to go to the
Oceaneer Club and Lab (those that are fully potty-trained AND at least 3 years old) can participate in the Dine and Play option where they are served first and then some of the Youth Club counselors will pick them up and take them to play while mom and dad finish dinner. You can also take your littlest one to the
nursery at that time too, although you will have to physically take them yourself and you will need to reserve time in the nursery ahead of time.
Wishing you a magical adventure with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
