We are sailing on the Fantasy November 19-25th. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Approximately how much time will it take to get from Orlando airport on Disney shuttle to Port Canaveral? Trying to figure out how to choose a boarding time for the boat...

Welcome aboard, Paula! It is almost time for you to fly south from Illinois to enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean when you set sail on the Disney Fantasy! You mentioned choosing a boarding time for the ship. I think what you're referring to is the Port Arrival Time that guests choose when completing online check in. It refers to the approximate time that Disney can expect you to arrive at Port Canaveral, not the time you'll board the ship. Since it sounds like you've pre-booked Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers, you don't need to worry much about the Port Arrival Time, as you'll arrive when the motorcoach gets you there!

Once you land and make your way through the airport, you can head straight to the Disney's Magical Express area of the airport, Level 1, Side B, by ground transportation. While Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers are different than the Magical Express to the parks, they do board in the same area. Hopefully you'll have attached the provided cruise luggage tags to your checked luggage before you left home, so those bags will magically make their way to meet you in your stateroom on the ship, and you'll only need to bring your carry-on bags with you. Check in with the ground transfers, and once your motorcoach departs, the ride to Port Canaveral is about an hour long.

Choosing a Port Arrival Time about two hours after your flight lands would probably be the most approximate time you may arrive. Don't worry if you arrive a bit earlier or later, they'll still be happy to check you in for your cruise. Once you check in at the port terminal, you will receive a boarding number. When your group's boarding number is called, it will be time to make your way onto the ship to begin your magical vacation with Captain Mickey! Have so much fun, Paula!
