Hi Ricardo!
I am so very excited to hEAR that you have an upcoming cruise on the
Disney Fantasy! If you ask me, there is no better way to explore the high seas than with Captain Mickey. We’ve driven to
Port Canaveral on several occasions, and the parking garage for Disney Cruise Line is directly across the street from the terminal. So convenient...just park your car, grab your luggage, and GO!
The last published rates for parking at the Port Canaveral cruise terminal were $17.00 per day, per vehicle. This pricing does include both your embarkation and debarkation days. Check the Port Authority website for the most current daily rate as prices are always subject to change.
You could also google the other parking companies that are in the area. They may offer cheaper rates, but it will add in extra time for you and your travel party to take a shuttle to the port. So you have to decide if the cost savings is worth it to you or not as far as added time and hassle.
If you stay at a Port Canaveral area hotel the night before your cruise, then you could check to see if that property offers transportation to the terminal. Then you could leave your vehicle parked at the hotel. This is not my preference if I have a car because they likely only offer the shuttle to the port at select times during the day, and when I am ready to get going, I want to be there already!
Finally, I must mention that with the
new testing protocols before boarding, you will be waiting a minimum of 45 minutes to one hour for COVID-19 test results. So in that regard, I would think that being parked at the Port Canaveral parking lot would be the optimum choice. That would mean waiting in the comfort of your vehicle rather than simply standing around outside the terminal.
Ricardo, you can park more questions here at planDisney and we will gladly answer them! Have a FANTAStic voyage!
