    Sailing on the Fantasy March 16th, 2013. This cruise is our Christmas present and both grandparents and parent's anniversary . Have read about sea lice. Should we take special sunscreen?

    Hi Kate!

    I'm so excited to hear that you'll be sailing on the magnificent Disney Fantasy!  What fun you and your family will have! 

    I'll be honest with you, I've sailed with Disney Cruise Line numerous times, to many sunny places, and have never had an issue with these critters.  If you feel more comfortable using the special sunscreen, I'd take it...better safe than sorry!  Wet suits will also help prevent getting those bites.  If you do find that you have been bitten, there is a doctor and a nurse onboard that can help you.
