Hi Kristin!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Beginning your summer with a land and sea Disney adventure sounds like so much fun!
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is one of my favorite Resort hotels! When we stay there, we always try to have a meal or two in the Pepper Market. Yum! Then it will be time to set sail, with Captain Mickey at the helm, sailing you to paradise!
Amazing job making Advanced Dining Reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table! Those reservations are difficult to come by! I'm happy to give you my opinion on your wonderful question. My family always takes
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral when we stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel prior to setting sail. The motor coaches pick up Guests from their Resort hotels on the morning of embarkation anywhere between 9:30am - 1:30pm. The schedule depends on which Resort hotel you're staying at and where other cruising Guests are staying, too. You will receive a letter at your Resort hotel the day before your cruise notifying you of your specific meeting/pick up time.
Because you're assigned a time when the motor coach will pick your family up and there's no guarantee you'll receive a later pick-up time, there's a likely chance you won't be able to use Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transfers if you have an 8:55am breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table the morning of embarkation day. My family and I have left for Port Canaveral from a Resort hotel many times, and we've always had a morning pick up time.
Kristin, I hope I was able to give you the information needed to plan for the morning you set sail! If you think of any future questions, please come back and visit us again!
