Hi there, Cindy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have a
FANTASTic Disney Cruise Line vacation coming up! With the busy-ness of the holidays, the time will fly by and before you know it you will be headed to sea for an adventure you won’t soon forget!
I love that you are inquiring about your husband being able to check his scores while onboard! I know this situation all too well!! It always seems that when we travel there is some score that needs to be checked during out voyage or some game to be watched! Your husband can access the scores online while onboard, but its likely that unless you are at a port his cell phone service will work. Usually cell phone data plans do not work while at sea, but your carrier may have a cruise ship package that you can look into getting during your time at sea. Otherwise, the onboard Wi-Fi is an option.
Internet packages are available based on MB of data downloaded and can be purchased once onboard.
Often sporting games will be available onboard and can be watched in one of the onboard pubs. Programming is always subject to availability, but definitely let him know to check in
O’Gill’s Pub to see if his game is on! (Or, you can keep that information to yourself…I won’t tell!!). Additionally, he will likely be able to catch up on scores on the television in your stateroom via one of the sports channels available there!
Have a magical and memorable adventure at sea! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
