Sailing with the family on the first voyage of the Fantasy (can't wait). We have "late" dining, but have no idea what late means?? We also are on waitlist for early dining because we have three little ones.

    Hello Sandra,

I'm so excited for you!  The maiden voyage of The Disney Fantasy?  How cool is that?!?  Super cool!  The ship is magnificent, and you are going to have an amazing time on your trip.

In reference to dining times; Main Seating on the Disney Fantasy is 6:00pm.  Second Seating is 8:30pm.  Personally, I love late dining.  I prefer to see the evening's show before I go to dinner.  This way, you'll also have more time to sit back, relax and enjoy your restaurant.  Another thing, during port days, you won't have to rush back to get ready for dinner.  If the kids are a little hungry, get them a snack on deck to tide them over until mealtime.

I don't know how old your children are, but mine were 6 and 9 when they first sailed on a Disney cruise.  They would not leave the kids clubs until they closed at 1:00am!  They outlasted me every night, and I'd make my husband stay awake to pick them up.

I'm sending you pixie dust that this might just be a blessing in disguise.  I think you may just enjoy it.  Have a wonderful trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
