Hi, Adilson!
If you're like me, packing for a family vacation can be stressful! I tend to overpack, because I want to make sure I have EVERYTHING we may need. Thankfully, Disney Cruise Line has created a packing list that helps keep things simple!
First things first, you'll need a day bag for Embarkation Day, as your luggage may not arrive in your stateroom until a few hours after you board. Here's what you'll need in your day bag:
- Medications, in their original containers
- Passport and travel documents
- Camera and accessories
- Prescription glasses or contact lenses
- Swimsuit
- Sunscreen
Here's a list of clothing and accessories to pack in your luggage:
- Sundresses
- T-shirts
- Shorts
- Sandals or sneakers (rubber-soled shoes for some Port Adventures)
- Socks
- PJs
- Light Jacket
- Extra swimsuit
- Beach cover-up
- Sunglasses
- Dining attire
Dinner attire is "cruise casual", meaning no swimwear, shorts or tank tops. If you plan to dine at Palo or Remy, the adult-exclusive restaurants, you'll need to make sure you follow their more formal dress codes.
Make sure to bring your favorite pirate accessories for Pirate Night, a swashbuckling celebration on the high seas!
I've seen several "Packing for a Disney Cruise" posts on Pinterest which list some fun extras you can bring along to make your cruise magical - you might want to check them out!
I hope this helps with your packing and planning! - Diane W.
