Hi, we are sailing on the dream in two short weeks and can hardly wait. I was wondering about the Pelican Plunge, Spring a leak and Scuttle's Cove, do we have to preregister or is it open without registration. Also, are there age ranges for each.

    Hi Jason!

You will be arriving on Disney's exclusive island, Castaway Cay very soon!  This little slice of heaven is a tropical paradise you won't want to leave!  This is my favorite port of call, and it's amazing how the Disney Imagineers transformed this space into a family-friendly oasis for their cruise Guests!

Scuttle's Cove is the kids' club on the island.  If your children are between the age of 3-12 and registered for the Oceaneer Club & Lab, they can check-in to this area from 9:00am-4:00pm. Your children can stay and play while you enjoy some time on the adult-only beach, Serenity Bay.  Monstro Point, a whale digging site, a 1,200 sq.ft. water area along with organized activities will provide hours of fun for the littlest members of your crew !  Your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, will list all the activities that are planned for your day on Castaway Cay.

Spring- a- Leak is the perfect spot for some splashtacular fun!  This 2,400 sq. ft. area is filled with jets and fountains and is bound to be great time for the entire family!  It is open for fun while the ship is in port.

Taking the plunge on Pelican's Plunge is also another exciting activity for kids  (and adults) over 38". These twisting tube slides are also open while the ship is docked on the island.  When I visited Castaway Cay last spring, I learned children between 38"-48" do have to wear a lifejacket because you are required to swim out to the platform and swim back to shore to enjoy this experience.

I hope my answer helps with your planning!  I'm excited you don't have long to wait to sail on this spectacular ship and experience all Disney has to offer at sea!  If you have any other last minute questions, please let me know!

    Bon Voyage!
