We're sailing on Dream in Feb '20 with our littles. Will lunch be available at any of the dining venues on Day 1? At what time do they open? Or should we bring lunch? We embark at 11:30am and don't want to risk Hangry Cruisers.

Hiya, Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cruise on the Disney Dream is only a month away. Have you started a countdown yet?

11:30AM is one of the earliest Port Arrival times and you will be in one of the first groups to board the Disney Dream. Once your family is announced officially in the Atrium Lobby (such a cool moment), where you go is entirely up to you. Sounds like it is a priority to get those littles fed quickly!

One thing you can count on while on a Disney cruise is plenty of FOOD!  Don't even worry about feeding those kiddos lunch before you arrive. Cabanas buffet will be open for lunch as well as one of the main dining rooms for a sit down lunch. If you prefer, quick-service stations also have options like burgers, pizza, and sandwiches.

Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before setting sail.  It will show you a complete schedule of activities and entertainment as well as deck plans and menus.

I recommend packing a small day bag to carry swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen on embarkation day.  After lunch, our family loves to make a beeline for the pools while waiting for our stateroom to be ready (approximately 1:30PM). I'd say an inaugural ride on the AquaDuck is in order!

Please let us know if we can help you navigate the cruise planning waters. Hope you have a DREAMy vacation!
