Ahoy
Carine!
You will absolutely love cruising on the magnificent
Disney Dream! I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. I can tell you that while temperatures can certainly fluctuate, they will most likely remain in a comfortably balmy range between the upper 70s and low 80s (°F). When I sailed on the Disney Dream this past January, it was definitely warm enough to enjoy the
AquaDuck, the pools, and the beaches at
Castaway Cay. Nevertheless, when the temperatures outside drop below 70°F, Disney Cruise Line cranks up the heat for the water in the pools. So be sure to bring your swimsuits!
Since the weather can be unpredictable in the Bahamas and the Caribbean that time of the year, I would suggest packing some appropriate attire, in case it gets chilly. Be sure to bring a sweater, a jacket, and a couple of pairs of long pants. It's always a good idea to pack an umbrella and/or a rain jacket too. But if you do forget them at home, you can always buy these items on the ship! Be prepared, and consider that if the weather is not terrific on the islands, you can always enjoy more of what the ship has to offer.
You will want to contact Disney Cruise Line (DCL) to request the same
dining rotation for both you and your extended family. Please call DCL at (800) 951-3532. Be sure to provide them with each reservation number. Depending on the total number of guests traveling together, you may even be seated at the same table.
Please let me know if I can answer any more questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable and magical Disney Cruise! Bon Voyage!
