Sailing on the Dream this Dec. I've been told that we have to have 6 months left on our passports to be able to use them. My 12yo daughters expires in 4 months. Can we still use it or should I bring a copy of her birth certificate instead?

    Hi Kathryn,

Thanks so much for sailing by.  I recently traveled on a Disney Cruise Line vacation with my niece whose passport had about the same amount of time left on it as your daughter's.  I did bring her birth certificate with us to be sure we didn't have any issues boarding.  The passport was fine in my case, however, out of an abundance of caution, I recommend bringing along her birth certificate.  To ensure you have all the required travel documentation, I recommend visiting the passport and travel documentation site.  Whenever I have had a question, a quick phone call to Disney Cruise Line has also been very helpful.

    Have a magical vacation!
