Hi, we are sailing the Dream in April 2011 and I have two kids, 7 and 5. They only speak french. Do you know if the staff at Oceaner's Club speaks french?

    Hi Richard,

One of the things I love about cruising is that it's always a multi-national affair! Onboard each Disney Cruise Line ship, there are about 950 crew members representing more than 60 different nationalities.

For the comfort of your children, I would be sure to include the fact that they exclusively speak French under the "special considerations" portion of the Youth Activities Registration Form.  This will alert the counselors to their need, and allow for appropriate staffing.  Be sure to mention this again when picking up your pager on the day you set sail, just to ensure the proper communication has been made.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful time!
