We are sailing on Disney Wonder in June. Would like to know what night if any is formal, and just how formal? Thank you.

    Hi Susan,

On my recent Wonder voyage the evening attire was suggested as follows:
    • Sunday:  Cruise Casual
    • Monday:  Dress Up
    • Tuesday:  Cruise Casual or Pirate Attire
    • Wednesday:  Optional Dress Up

Keep in mind this is subject to change, but it gives you an idea of what the dress codes are.

As for how "dressy" is Dress Up evening - I think it is all a matter of personal comfort.  Obviously, tank tops, and swim wear are out...jeans and shorts are debatable.

For my family, this typically means that I will be in nice pressed capri's with a blouse or simple dress.  My girls will be in dresses.  My husband and son will wear docker-type pants with an oxford shirt (he draws the line at a tie).  It may not be "dressy" by some standards - but I think it's how you wear it rather than what you wear.  I try to keep it simple, but add in a few fun accessories to dress things up a bit.

Now what I've described for my family is probably pretty average for what you'll see.  There will be guests in fancy dresses and even some tuxedos, so if you are looking for a reason to dress to the nines - you wouldn't be discouraged here!

I hope this helps, have a great time!
