Ahoy, Elisabeth!
How exciting that your Disney Cruise Line vacation is quickly approaching! I’m also sailing on the Disney Wonder to Alaska this summer and my family is eagerly anticipating this epic voyage, so I hope yours is too. I’m happy to help you understand what’s available for your special cruise.
Unfortunately, the character breakfast experiences onboard Disney Cruise Line have not yet resumed since being paused during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m sorry to share disappointing news, but the bright side is that you haven’t missed anything within your planning process as it’s simply not available at this time.
For a unique, memorable experience that doesn’t require a ticket be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard for details of visiting with favorite characters in Alaska-itinerary exclusive outfits! Please see this great guidance from my friend, Prince, for your Glacier Day onboard. I’ve always found opportunities to meet characters on a Disney Cruise Line vacation to be plentiful, whether you plan them in advance or happen upon them when roaming the ship.
I’m happy to share some additional details for your May 29, 2023 sailing on the Disney Wonder:
- Tuesday, Sea Day, is Formal Night – keep an eye out for your favorite Disney characters in their fanciest attire
- Wednesday, Glacier Day, also features a Frozen themed evening and special deck party with our friends from Arendelle
In addition to these themed evenings featuring our favorite friends, your sailing is also a special
Silver Anniversary at Sea itinerary! This summer, Disney Cruise Line is celebrating 25 years at sea so you will
experience new entertainment, merchandise, treats, special outfits for favorite characters, and even a
new theme song with the
Sail-A-Wave Deck Party.
I hope this helps you finalize your packing and brings some positive anticipation for your epic trip ahead, Elisabeth! Here's to smooth travels and the vacation of a lifetime together.
Wishing you wondrous adventure in the great wide somewhere,
Amy
