We are sailing on the Disney Wonder on April 11, 2025. We have scheduled events that run through the late dinner time. What are the chances of getting in the earlier dining time with 19 guests? We are on the waiting list!

    Ahoy there, Peggy!

Thank you for being a frequent sailor over here at planDisney! It sounds like you have a fantastic crew lined up for an unforgettable voyage on the Disney Wonder—what a magical way to make memories together! With 19 Guests in your party, I can already picture the joy, laughter, and maybe even a little friendly competition over who gets the best seat for the evening’s entertainment.

Now, I know you’re hoping to snag main dining for your whole group, and while it can be tricky with a larger party, it’s definitely not impossible! The Dining Team works their magic behind the scenes to accommodate as many requests as they can, and being on the waitlist is the best first step. I took a peek at your sailing, and while it isn’t completely full yet, it’s getting pretty close—so fingers crossed that some pixie dust comes your way!

If embarkation day arrives and you’re still assigned to late dining, don’t lose hope just yet! Open your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to find the location where you can speak with the Dining Team in person. I just got off the Disney Fantasy, and even though our smaller party wasn’t switched from the waitlist before sailing, we stopped by to talk to the team. We were assigned late dining for the first night, but the next morning, I got a call asking if we still wanted to switch, and we spent the rest of the cruise enjoying main dining! It’s always worth checking, as adjustments are sometimes even possible after the first night.

If a change isn’t possible, don’t hesitate to chat with your server team on the first night. They may be able to help by preordering meals for the next night or finding other ways to make your dining experience as seamless as possible. While it depends on the ship’s operations, they’ll do whatever they can to ensure you still enjoy all the delicious dishes and magical moments at dinner. If your scheduled events overlap too much, you can also explore alternative dining options like complimentary room service (optional gratuities, but recommended) or the quick-service spots on deck.

I’m wishing you and your whole crew an unforgettable adventure on the high seas, filled with incredible food, spectacular entertainment, and memories to last a lifetime. May the Wonder be just the beginning of something magical!

Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
    Dustin
