Hi Geraldine! Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to have you here.
I'm a bit of a late-night snacker myself, and I actually crave tortilla chips when I am cruising, so I personally love this question! You are welcome to bring bags of chips with you on the ship as long as they are nonperishable snack foods in their original factory-sealed packaging. You can put them in your carry-on luggage if you'd like, but they are also okay to be packed in your luggage that you check as you arrive at the port. It's important to note that your chips must either be consumed prior to returning to your home port or remain unopened. If you open the bag but don't finish your chips, you'll be asked to discard them before disembarking to comply with rules and regulations. I hope that's good news as you plan for your time at sea!
If I don't have room in my luggage to bring my own snacks, you can often find me munching on popcorn while enjoying the entertainment at the
Walt Disney Theatre. I like to purchase a popcorn bucket on the first day of my sailing and enjoy refills throughout the cruise.
If you are looking for something a little more substantial than chips to enjoy later in the evening, you can check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see which dining options are open late. It's usually pizza! If you are in the mood for something else, don't forget about the complimentary
Room Service that is available around the clock.
Happy late-night snacking, and happy sailing!
