Couple dining

Sailing on the Disney Wish for three nights. I want to do Palo on the night we have Arendelle. I have booked it for the second night of our sailing I wondered if I can request we have Arendelle that night or if I can change Palo on board when we know.

Hello there, Libby! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney! I love it when Guests find us for the first time. And when it comes to Disney Cruise Line dining, sometimes you just have to make a wish and hope for a little pixie dust!

While I have not sailed specifically on the Disney Wish, I have sailed on the newest ship in this class of ships from Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Destiny. So while the theming and some of the specific locations throughout the ship may differ, the overall layout is pretty similar. And I have to tell you, you're in for a mighty fine treat. The adult spaces, the family spaces, and everything in between are so expertly laid out and imaginatively themed. As Genie would say, this ship has "phenomenal cosmic powers!" I already can't wait for my next cruise!

When it comes to rotational dining, while you can sometimes request a different seating time (subject to availability), the restaurant schedule assigned to your stateroom is typically fixed and usually cannot be changed. So for your situation, I would recommend seeing what your options are for your Palo Steakhouse reservation. Once you check in at the port terminal, log in to the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for additional details you may not have been able to see at home. It may even tell you where to go once onboard to speak with representatives from the premium dining experiences to see if your Palo dinner can be moved. Of course, you can also ask one of the friendly Cast Members where to go, but once you know, I'd recommend making it one of the first things you do once onboard the ship. After all, as Cinderella reminds us, "If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true!" So my fingers and merman fins are crossed that your delicious wish comes true.

On our last cruise, they were able to move our Palo dinner to a different night and even helped us snag a brunch reservation too! And let me tell you, those two experiences were standouts of the whole vacation. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all wonderful, and I don't know that we'll be able to skip a Palo location on future cruises! Our server, Alessandro, was stellar.

Libby, best wishes for an amazing vacation and some delicious dining. I hope your Disney Wish sailing is filled with magical memories from bow to stern! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out again.

    Until your wish sets sail,
    Matt
