Hi, Patrick! Welcome back to planDisney. It's great to see you sail our way again.
How wonderful that your plans this summer include sailing on the
Disney Wish and a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. We did the same thing this spring and had an absolute blast. When you add a
ground transfer from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World Resort, you will not be given an assigned bus time.
The buses will be lined up and waiting for guests to depart the cruise terminal and board their assigned buses. I noticed on our recent visit that the buses don't begin leaving the port till about 9:00 a.m. so there's really no need to rush off of the ship. When we do this again, I will try to time it to board the bus closer to the first departure time to minimize waiting. Buses will continue to transport guests from Port Canaveral to their Walt Disney World Resort throughout the morning as they fill up.
I can't wait for you to step aboard the enchanting Disney Wish and experience your own fairytale at sea. There is so much to do on the ship, but I have to say that one of my favorite parts of sailing on the Disney Wish is the incredible dining! I recommend the sea bass at
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure and the pasta dish at
1923. Oh, and don't miss Donald's Cantina or Mickey's Smokestack BBQ at
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods on Deck 11. Okay, now I'm hungry! Have fun exploring the entire ship and keep your eyes open for special artwork and Disney details all over the place.
There's nothing like some quality time at Walt Disney World to wash away the post-Disney Cruise blues. If you have any questions about your time at the theme parks, please sail our way again. We have so many panelists who are Walt Disney World experts!
Have a magical time,
Adrianna
