    Hello! We will be sailing on the Disney Wish in October! What is your favorite Port Adventure in The Bahamas for a mixed generation family (grandparents, parents, and elementary-aged kids)? Thank you!

    Well ahoy again Jennifer, it's so nice to see you back aboard planDisney! 

    I remember when I previously provided you with costume ideas for your upcoming voyage to celebrate Halloween on the High Seas, and I hope that you've been inspired with what the whole family will be wearing as the time for you to embark draws near! As a self-described Port Adventure aficionado, I'm happy to give you my best recommendations after years of sailing to the Bahamas and spending weeks trying out as many as I could while living at sea.

    • Whenever my family heads out on any multi-generational adventures, it's always nice to have a balance of activities that we can experience together as a family alongside options where we can each branch off to enjoy our own interests as well. In my experience, not every Port Adventure in Nassau is necessarily built the same and while they may be great for certain age groups, there are a few that I find are versatile enough to please everyone.
    • At the top of my list I have to recommend anything that takes you out to enjoy Atlantis Paradise Island and especially the Atlantis Aquaventure. It's just one of those places that you can see as the ship sails into Port that is not only beautiful from a distance but once you actually step into the grounds of the resort the theming is stunning and carries through whatever you choose to experience: from the fun of the waterpark and lounging in the family's Private Cabana for the day, to checking out the casino or exploring the expansive and best-themed marine habitats set in underwater ruins that I've ever seen!
    • My other personal Princely Picks depend on what you all envision for your perfect day out in the Bahamas - whether it's winding down and enjoying a leisurely beach day on a private island away from the crowds in Nassau or a more adventurous escape as you set sail on a catamaran to snorkel and observe sea life together as a family. 
    While you're on Disney Castaway Cay, I always recommend taking the day to just relax on shore and take it easy so that you're not too tuckered out to enjoy the evening festivities on board!
