We are sailing on the Disney Treasure leaving December 28th. Will there be a pirate night? Will there be a formal night?

Hi, LaVonne! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I can’t imagine a better way to ring in the New Year than on a brand-new Disney ship! I’m sailing aboard the Disney Treasure in March, and I love reading all the updates from the Disney Parks Blog. The new “Cocoa” inspired restaurant, “Moana” stage show, and Haunted Mansion Parlor top my list as must-sees. I’m sure you’re counting down the days with me!

Although the dress code is cruise casual most nights, get ready for two nights of fireworks and some fancier evenings ahead.

       • Sunday: Formal Night
       • Tuesday: Semi-Formal and New Year’s Eve with fireworks
       • Wednesday: Pirate Night

Remember that things can change, so you’ll want to double-check the schedule on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board. The app will also list all the exciting entertainment in store for you! If something catches your eye, select the heart next to the activity to mark it as a favorite. The app will send you a reminder fifteen minutes beforehand so that you won’t miss out on any magical activities happening on board.

LaVonne, here’s to new beginnings and countless adventures awaiting you!

    SEAS the adventure!

Meet the Panelist: Tracie, Florida

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
