Ahoy, Ashley!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I'm excited to hear you have an upcoming cruise planned on the gorgeous
Disney Magic! With delicious dining, Broadway-style entertainment, amazing port visits, and loads of fun activities and events throughout your sailing, you're in for a magical vacation with memories that will last a lifetime.
A few weeks before your sail date, you'll receive your Guest Travel Booklet in the mail. The booklet will contain your cruise documents and lots of important information about your sailing. It includes a Vacation Checklist, (with reminders about what you'll need to do to prepare for your departure), Embarkation Information, a Vacation Summary (guest names, itinerary, Port Adventures, etc.), and Important Extras (Airline Check-In Program and Gratuity Guidelines). In the booklet, you'll also receive your luggage tags, which will get your bags to the right place at the right time! Each guest is issued two luggage tags.
Also in the booklet are Contact Cards, with Disney Cruise Line Contact Information in case a friend or family member needs to contact you while you're on the ship. The cards will have your stateroom number and a phone number (1-888-DC-AT-SEA) for them to call. While no guest wants to think about someone needing to reach out to them in an emergency, it's comforting to know that there's a way to be reached if the need arises. Shore-to-ship rates apply for these calls, the caller will need to know the name of the ship and your stateroom number, and there's a maximum call length of ten minutes.
I hope this helps. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
