Welcome to planDisney, Vanessa!
It looks like you have a fantastic vacation planned! Not only is your compass pointing towards a high-seas adventure aboard the
Disney Magic, but you're also setting a course for a magical theme park stay. You are going to make some wonderful memories!
I wish you could just hop on a Magic Carpet after your cruise because, at this time, Disney Cruise Line does not offer
ground transportation from Miami to Walt Disney World. Your best option would be to fly from Miami to Orlando. Once in Orlando, many shuttle options are available to whisk you away to your resort.
I know you said you did not want to rent a car, but I did a quick search and found a few rental companies with wheelchair assessable vans. For reference, it is roughly 3 hours and 20 minutes from the port to Walt Disney World Resort, so if you are making any
dining reservations, I’d probably wait and schedule them for dinner.
Disney Cruise Line offers many helpful services to Guests with disabilities. They have wheelchair-friendly motorcoaches if you plan to take Disney transportation from the Miami airport to the port.
Contact Disney Cruise Line and have this need noted on your reservation.
Vanessa, I hope one of these options works for you and your family. If I can offer any additional assistance, please stop by and ask. Unlike Genie, you can ask as many questions as you wish.
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
