Hello! We are sailing on the Disney Fantasy October 4 cruise. There are three adults and a 7 year old. We are intereseted in Main Dining options but I don't think my 7 year old will find the menu appealing. Can we order something else for her?

    Ahoy, Robin!

Thank you so much stopping by the Moms Panel and sending in a question. You've got magic brewing and your cruise will be here sooner than you know it! Dining on the Disney cruise is a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. I think your 7 year old would love sitting in the main dining rooms and admiring the creative decorations and whimsical artwork that the Disney Cruise has created for their guests. You will feel like you've just been transported into a Disney story. Each wall jumps at you, and even the ceiling has lots of details to look at. It's a feast for your eyes!

And then the food arrives - wow! It is prepared with such care - and it tastes wonderful. Your little cruiser will have a choice of ordering anything on the kids menu... and even something off of the adult menu if you'd like. And of course - adults can also order something from the kids menu (mmm... kids chicken noodle soup... yummm). My daughter has always been a picky eater - but seems like the Mickey pasta does the trick every single time. We started with plain pasta, then butter, then alfredo sauce... and we started throwing in some grilled chicken. It takes several steps... slowly but surely. The great thing about dining with Captain Mickey, is that you can order a bit of something or a bit of everything! Otherwise, there's always fries, nuggets, mac & cheese... and even a nice plain steak or chicken breast. The chefs do an awesome job with offering several choices.

I think you'll have a good amount to choose from. Lots to drink, too -- my kids get spoiled with the abundant supply of cherries on their shirley temples. And don't forget dessert... Mickey bars, Cookies-n-Cream Sundaes and much more! Have fun and enjoy the dining experience on the Disney Cruise. Order away and enjoy the great food. You're on vacation and you've earned it!

Let us know if you need additional info. Bon voyage!
