Ahoy, Richard!
A 7-night Caribbean sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy is the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day. While most nights are
cruise casual, you have a few opportunities to dress your best and even party like a pirate.
On your July sailing, formal and semi-formal nights are scheduled for your two sea days. I like to take advantage of the shipboard photographers and capture a photo of my family looking our best. Sometimes this picture even ends up on our holiday card. Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie also join in and wear their fanciest outfits. Richard, I’ve seen Guests don tuxedos and even a few in tuxedo tee shirts. You can decide what’s right for you.
Your last themed night is
Pirate Night, currently scheduled for Tuesday. Thankfully you don’t have to swab the deck, but there are plenty of opportunities to let out your inner scallywag. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite swashbuckling garb for dinner and participate in a night full of pirate-themed activities.
Traditionally, Disney Cruise Line celebrates the Fourth of July with a patriotic-themed dinner, activities, and a special firework show. However, those details have not yet been released. I know you’re ready to dive into all the fun onboard. I suggest downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you embark, the app will list all the activities offered on your sailing.
I hope this helps as you finalize your packing list. If you’re looking for more packing suggestions, the Disney Cruise Line website has a handy
Packing Checklist. Thank you for stopping by, and please let us know if we can help with anything else!
SEAS the adventure!
