We are sailing on the Disney fantasy December 12 through the 17th and are wondering what night is pirate night?

    Ahoy there, Thomas!

Welcome aboard planDisney! You’ve got quite the itinerary ahead of you—between setting sail on the Fantasy, enjoying a Very Merrytime sailing, and joining in the yo-ho’s of Pirate Night, this adventure is shaping up to be a treasure trove of memories.

Since the entertainment schedule is always subject to change, the best way to get the official scoop is by checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. That being said, I completely understand wanting to plan those outfits ahead of time (no one wants to be scrambling like Scrooge McDuck diving for the perfect gold coin in his money bin). Here’s the current schedule for your sailing:

    • Day 2 (at sea) – Optional Dress-Up Night: This is a night my family never misses for photos. Whether it’s a formal portrait against a shimmering backdrop in the Atrium or a quick candid out on deck, it’s a great chance to capture a “storybook moment.”

    • Day 3 (Nassau) – Pirate Night: Time to summon your inner Jack Sparrow! Themed activities fill the day, and when the sun goes down, you’ll enjoy the swashbuckling deck party and fireworks lighting up the sky (weather permitting).

    • Day 4 (Lookout Cay) – Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party: A Very Merrytime favorite! My family loves wearing matching holiday pajamas for this one—it pairs perfectly with the cookies and hot cocoa served in the Atrium (subject to change) and makes the night feel like stepping right into a Disney holiday special.

And let’s not overlook the fact that you’ll be visiting both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay on the same voyage! It’s like finding a double rainbow at sea—two island paradises filled with fun, relaxation, and plenty of chances for family photos that’ll make your holiday card shine.

I hope this helps you set your course for an unforgettable cruise. With holiday magic, pirate shenanigans, and two private islands on your itinerary, this is shaping up to be the kind of sailing even Captain Hook would trade his hook for.

Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
    Dustin
