Greetings, Alexandra! Welcome back to planDisney!
While I haven’t yet sailed on a transatlantic voyage, I’ve added it to my bucket list. Thirteen nights aboard the Disney Dream sounds…well, dreamy! One thing I enjoy about longer cruises is the variety of activities. My good friend and former panelist Adrianna shared that her transatlantic voyage featured boat building, hide-and-seek with the ship's officers, a crew talent show, and special guest lectures, among other unique offerings. With such a range of activities and experiences, you will surely have a memorable adventure!
Since
Vigo is a small city, walking is a great way to get around—the ship docks at Muelle de Transatlanticos. Visitors have various transportation options. Busses and taxis are an efficient way to see the city. You’ll find them just outside the port gates. A tourist office is also located at the dock, offering maps and helpful information for visitors.
I noticed that one of your final ports of call is
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! I had the chance to visit Disney’s newest beach destination this summer, and I’ve never felt sand so soft. If you have some time, take a walk along the water to the far end—it’s secluded and perfect for capturing some great photos. Keep an eye out for unique birds and crabs playing in the surf.
Thank you for stopping by with your question. Enjoy every moment at sea with Captains Mickey and Minnie!
SEAS the adventure!
