    It sounds like you have your planning well on the way for your upcoming trip. Your cruise on the Disney Dream will be here before you know it! The Atlantis Aquaventure is a great excursion as you will have access to the entire water park that includes a children’s pool and splash area, many water slides and rides as well as sandy beaches.  My pirate crew had so much fun enjoying this excursion and floating on the river that spans the waterpark. There are many places for your elderly parents to sit and relax in lounge chairs that are shaded with palm trees.  Picnic areas are available for eating and there are counter service areas for refreshment.

    If you booked your excursion through Disney, then you will have transportation included with your park admission. Your parents will need to book Aquaventure too if they wish to ride with you and enter the park. Even if they are not planning to swim, they will need a day pass just to enter the portion of Atlantis that has the water features. Because Aquaventure is such a popular excursion, sometimes the availability is limited and Disney sells out. If you want to include your parents, you should reserve a slot for them online prior to cruise check in.  If they have their heart set on going and Disney has sold out, then they can take a taxi ride to the Atlantis resort and purchase a day pass once they get there.  Your tiger cubs and your entire pirate crew will have a blast on your Aquaventure.
