Ahoy there, Janis! Welcome aboard planDisney, where my pals and I are happy to have you sail to us with a question. I'd love to help you prepare for your sailing on the Disney Dream this April.
Yes, you are indeed in luck, as the second evening of your voyage is currently scheduled as
Pirate Night. You can expect to enjoy themed activities, Character greetings, crafts, games, and a deck party in the evening, complete with fireworks! It's quite the buccaneer bash! Several of your fellow shipmates will don their best pirate costumes for the occasion, so pack accordingly if you'd like to get into the scallywag spirit. You can also shop for pirate-themed clothing and accessories once you are on board the ship.
You'll have access to the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark on your voyage. Be sure to download the latest version of the app before you leave home so that you feel shipshape and ready to sail. The Daily Activity Schedule will outline everything happening onboard you sailing. You'll see times and locations listed for each activity offered. If you see something listed that you don't want to miss, you can click the heart icon next to the activity, and (if you have app notifications enabled) you'll receive a reminder notification about 15 minutes before the activity begins. I love this feature because it's easy for me to get distracted by soft-serve ice cream and a movie near the pool!
Janis, if you have more questions, please visit us again. We love to chat about all things Disney Cruise Line.
Bon Voyage!
