Ahoy, Denise!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I love the itinerary you've chosen because it includes some incredible ports of call that are a rare treat to find on a Disney sailing. Pair that with seven nights aboard the Disney Destiny, and you've got all the ingredients for an unforgettable adventure at sea!
The first of your themed evenings is currently scheduled for Day 3 (At Sea), which is your Formal Night. This is one of my favorite opportunities to
dress in your royal best and take advantage of the beautiful photo locations around the ship. The Grand Hall is especially stunning in the evening, and if you're lucky enough to catch a colorful sunset, Deck 12 can provide a picture-worthy backdrop that would make even the royal family of Corona stop for a photo.
Your swashbuckling adventure arrives on Day 5 while you're visiting St. Maarten, when
Pirate Night is currently scheduled to take place. This is the perfect evening to channel your inner Captain Jack Sparrow, throw on your favorite pirate gear, and enjoy all the themed entertainment happening throughout the ship. I won't spoil all the surprises, but keep an eye on the Grand Hall that evening. There's typically a special pirate-themed experience around 7:30 PM (subject to change) that adds a little extra treasure to the night.
Then on Day 6 (At Sea), you'll have another opportunity to dress up during Semi-Formal Night. One thing I love about Disney Cruise Line is that these themed evenings are completely optional. Some Guests go all out, while others keep things casual. There is no wrong answer, so choose whatever helps your crew have the most magical vacation possible.
As always, entertainment schedules, theme nights, and event times are subject to change, so be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you're onboard for the most up-to-date information.
I hope this helps as you plan your outfits, pirate gear, and picture-perfect moments
aboard the Destiny! Between Formal Night, Pirate Night, and all the adventures waiting in between, your cruise is shaping up to be more epic than one of Hercules' training montages.
Sea ya real soon as the days grow longer and the countdowns grow shorter,
Dustin
