Hi, we are sailing on Disney Destiny Jan 22-26, my daughter turns 3 on Jan 24. Would she be able to join Oceaneer Club during full duration of our trip? Thank you

    Ahoy there, Tatyana!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to sail by with your question for us. I’m delighted to see you’ll soon be sailing on the new Disney Destiny in January. 3 is such a fun age and your family will create wonderful memories as you celebrate your daughter’s birthday aboard the Disney Destiny!

Your young Mouseketeer will be eligible to join in on all the excitement at the Oceaneer Club once she turns 3 on January 24. She’ll also need to be fully potty-trained and independent in the bathroom. At the beginning of your cruise before your daughter is able to partake in the Oceaneer Club, I recommend checking out the play spaces during Open House. You can find out when these opportunities are available by checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App when you’re onboard. During Open House, the whole family can check out the youth clubs and experience some magic together! This is also a good way to get her excited and familiarize her to the play spaces! My children, who have aged out of Oceaneer Club a long time ago, were able to reminisce and show my 3-year-old nephew around in the Oceaneer Club during our recent multigenerational vacation on the Disney Fantasy.

I hope this information is helpful as you get ready for your upcoming sailing in January. As you continue to prepare for your voyage, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again if you have more questions for us.

Hope to “SEA” ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
