We are sailing on our 1st Disney Cruise in January 2018 aboard the Dream. Just concerned about the temperature of the water at the Atlantis Aquaventure. I understand that it's the Bahamas, but I didn't know if it is ever too cold?

    Hi Misty!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Sailing aboard the Disney Dream for your first cruise with Captain Mickey will be so exciting! It's great that you're already daydreaming about your Port Adventures for each port of call. When my family and I prepare for upcoming voyages, we love researching the Port Adventures in advance so we're ready to begin booking when our advance booking window opens!

The Atlantis Aquaventure is a splashtacular time at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. The average outside temperature for the Bahamas in January is in the mid 60's to upper 70's. I have great news! The water in the Atlantis Aquaventure water park is heated depending on what the outdoor temperature is each day. You and your family are sure to have a blast during this Port Adventure!

While you're visiting Atlantis Resort during your Port Adventure, make sure to explore The Dig. You'll be amazed at the exotic sea creatures swimming alongside you in the aquariums as you walk through the tunnels!

Misty, if you have any more questions as you plan for your first Disney Cruise, please don't hesitate to visit us again!
