You are in for a frightfully fun time!If you happen to be interested in private portrait sessions in Shutters Portrait Studio, you're right that you are likely going to exceed the capacity of the modest-sized studio. I would still recommend chatting with one of the professional photographers in the Shutters Photography Shop. They may have ideas for private sessions that could be "practically perfect in every way" for your family photos.My personal preference and recommendation for large family photos is to have one of the professional photographers stationed at the pre-scheduled photo opportunities that you can look up on the schedule of activities in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Photographers often accompany favorite Disney characters to capture fun encounters. But they also regularly offer opportunities to take portraits in front of a themed backdrop or a picturesque element of the ship. I think a large family photo on the steps of the staircase in the ship's Grand Hall would be a stunning record of the amazing adventure your family is sure to experience on the Destiny. Photographers are also typically stationed at scenic locations on Disney Castaway Cay. Again, check the Navigator app for times and locations of these photo opportunities. A fun family photo with the ship and the crystal-clear waters of Castaway Cay in the background may be just as memorable, if not more so, than a traditional portrait on dress-up night. And as long as at least one member of your party is in a stateroom that has a purchase of the Unlimited Digital Package tied to their room, the digital downloads of those photos would be included, which isn't the case for the black and white photos of the private studio sessions.I'm sure your family will have your fill of entertaining and unforgettable experiences on the Disney Destiny. Of course, with all the complimentary tacos and burritos from Donald's Cantina and sweet, creamy ice cream cones from Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream that you can eat, your family is likely going to be more than satisfied with your cruise.
