    Hi we will be sailing December 28th 2018 out of Miami and returning to Miami January 2nd. On our return flight home we will be flying out Ft. Lauderdale. Would a 1235 flight out of Ft. Lauderdale be cutting it to close?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your New Year's Eve voyage will be such an amazing way to ring in 2019! I can only imagine how exciting it will be aboard your Disney Cruise as the clock counts down to midnight. Definitely visit the onboard photographers to capture family pictures throughout your cruise!

    Ashley, I looked up the Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport just to get an idea of how far away it is from PortMiami. The driving distance shows that it will take about 40 minutes. If you choose to take advantage of the Express Walk-Off, the earliest time Guests are able to disembark the ship is typically between 7:30 and 8:00 the morning of debarkation. Then, I usually estimate 30 - 45 minutes in order to get through U.S. Customs. Even factoring in time getting your own transportation to the airport once you exit the Cruise Terminal, I think you'll make it to your flight with enough time to relax at the gate before take-off!

    If you do visit the onboard photographers during your voyage, be sure to stop by Shutters: The Onboard Photography Shop before you leave the ship to see your photos. There, you will also be able to purchase the photos you love. Some of my favorite pictures of my family were taken while sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line!
